Domolandes: digital technology supporting civil engineering

The construction sector is currently undergoing profound change encouraged by sustainable development digital progress. In light of ever shorter deadlines, increasingly complex projects and reduced budgets, it is essential for the actors in the building sector to learn to adopt a different approach to work! With the new digital tools, it is now possible to design and build a building as we light design and build a car or plane. "This will become the norm in the coming years," predicts Jean Fone Tchoura, the Director of Domolandes.

A technological showroom covering 150m², the Virtual Construction Forum provides companies with the very best digital technology together with virtual and 3D immersion tools in order to improve the design, modelling and visualisation of development and construction projects.

This unique and collaborative location is open to all the professionals of the building sector through the accompaniment provided by the Domolandes technology hub teams.

This Virtual Construction Forum was developed in synergy with the network of national partners of the Domolandes technology hub and the support of the local authorities including, of course, the Conseil Général des Landes and MACS as well as the Aquitaine Region and the Investissements d'Avenir programme.
