The southern Landes attracts companies
Thanks to highly attractive land prices, the new Atlantisud business park is quickly filling up, in particular with logistics companies.
With 12 companies on site, 300 jobs and 33 hectares developed, Atlantisud - launched in 2008 in Saint-Geours-de-Maremne in the southern Landes - is making its presence felt. "We began with a dual observation: a lack of business land and rapid population growth due to the expansion of the Bayonne urban area which is growing at a rate of 2.5% per year. We intend to develop 10 to 15 hectares per year," states Eric Sargiacomo, project manager at the Landes Conseil General, who is coordinating the commercialisation of Atlantisud. > ... - 30.08.2010
